A contemporary musical setting of Psalm 22 in a fresh English rendering of its ancient Hebrew poetry. The complete psalm moves from abandonment and urgent prayer to public thanksgiving, worldwide worship, and testimony for generations not yet born. The arrangement follows that movement without adding new lyrical claims. Verse 16 follows the traditional “pierced” reading used in the NKJV; the alternative Hebrew reading is acknowledged in the companion story. New music, ancient prayer—not a reconstruction of the original melody.
