Shema Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Echad (Isaiah 61:1–2) The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, for He has poured His oil upon My head. To send Me forth to bring good news to the low, to bind the hearts that have been torn apart, to speak release to those in prison held, and open wide the eyes of captives bound; to call the year of favor from the Lord. (Isaiah 53) He was despised, rejected among men, a man of grief, acquainted well with pain. We hid our faces from Him and turned aside; we did not honor Him. Surely our sicknesses He bore Himself, our sorrows carried as His burdened load; yet we esteemed Him stricken by God’s hand. He was pierced through for our rebellion’s wound, crushed underneath the weight of crooked deeds; the chastening that brought our peace was His, and by His stripes we are made whole. (Exodus 15:26) I am the Lord who heals you. Ani Adonai rof’echa. (Psalm 103 ) He heals all sickness written in your flesh; He pulls your life back from the pit. (Isaiah 61:3)
